abstract
In recent years, the selection of applicants to study natural sciences at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava has been based on the admission process only for medical biology or biology. In this paper, we present an analysis of the admission process for the academic year 2024/25. We focused on the type of tasks in the online environment, from individual biological and chemical fields. We included the four best and four worst solved questions, along with some interesting questions that were averagely solved or otherwise noteworthy. The authors' effort was to point out the success of students in completing the test. When compiling the test for the admission process, we based it on the target requirements for the knowledge and skills of high school graduates in biology and chemistry, so that every student could be successful in solving the tasks. In individual tasks, we calculated success rate I (%), sensitivity (d), and reliability of the test Cronbach's alpha = 0.830.
